Lion's Mane Mushroom Double Extraction

Ingredients:

Lion's Mane Mushroom Fruiting Body* (Hericium erinaceus)

purified water, alcohol*+ vegetable glycerin*

We use natural extraction methods to bring forth a full spectrum of constituents available from the actual fruiting bodies of organic lions mane mushrooms.  Many big mushroom companies cut corners and don't even use mushroom fruiting bodies, or they cut their mushroom fruiting bodies with myceliated grain or brown rice substrate because it's cheaper for the business than waiting for the mushroom bodies to fruit and mature.

Because we aim to make sustainable medicine of the highest quality, we started by growing the mushrooms ourselves, fanning and misting them by hand and singing to them several times throughout the day for several weeks until they reached maturity.  Once matured, we process the mushrooms in organic, non-GMO, medicinal grade alcohol and vegetable glycerin to extract for at least 1-3 lunar cycles.

Once the alcohol has fully extracted the alcohol soluble constituents, we squeeze, strain and filter the mushroom fruiting bodies from the tincture, setting aside the strained material to compost back to the earth.

We then begin our water extraction process with fresh new mushrooms.  Many other companies and medicine makers reuse the mushrooms strained from the alcohol extraction, rendering inferior and less effective medicine because the alcohol has already broken down the water soluble constituents that we aim to extract for medicine.

To create a full spectrum extraction, we decoct these new batch of mushroom bodies in hot water for many hours, squeezing, straining and filtering the decoction and reducing it into a concentrated water extraction.  Alcohol content over a certain percentage can destroy the different medicinal constituents that we desire to extract from water decoctions, so we carefully combine the water extraction with the alcohol and vegetable glycerin extraction at a specific ratio to preserve the full spectrum of constituents to deliver the full health benefits that these mushrooms have to offer.
